Yes, the title "The Abandoned Mind" is mostly a joke at my own expense. But, if I may say so, it also refers to the Mind of God--His will and purpose--which has also been abandoned by many contemporary folks, Christian and non-Christian alike, who prefer their own thoughts to the thoughts of their Creator.

What? Can't you tell by the highly legible signature?
And it is a nice service you provide, Daddio, especially your last homily and its uplifting message about the healing power of the Church, among other strong points as well.
In case anyone is thinking that Sean is being rude in calling a priest "Daddio" let me hasten to say that he is my son, and is well entitled to call me that!
